Second Year Class 5

Scenes from this morning: creating flowers with paper, building train tracks, and more.  We read Chrysanthemum by Kevin Henkes, we sang "There's a hole in the bottom of the sea," and we also had lots of great out door play today.  The sandbox was open and the swing came out for the first time.

We had 16 kids for lunch bunch (!) and had lots of fun after lunch learning about Andy Warhol and beginning an art project inspired by Warhol's flower paintings:

If your child stayed for lunch bunch today, try to have them come next Thursday so they can finish the art project that we started today.
