Second Year Class 3

Parents,

We had a busy day today!  Our bears came out of hibernation and we made forest homes to put them in.

We got to be bears in the forest in yoga class too!

We read a very, very funny story called Stuck, by Oliver Jeffers.  Ask your kids what got stuck in a tree in the story!

We got the bikes out on the playground today for the first since the winter set in.

Second Year Class 2

Our Story today was "And Then It's Spring," by Julie Fogliano and Erin Stead.  It is a really cute story about waiting for 'green' to start growing in the spring.

We are having lots of fun with singing and creative movement activities.  Some current favorites are:  "Head and Shoulders Baby" and "Pitter Patter Rain Drops."

Today was our first day to open our sandbox in the playground.

First Year Class

Today we all had fun when Dara came to sing with us.  The children especially liked Dara's chant "Once there was a quiet mouse, who lived inside a quiet house.  When all was quiet as can be, out popped HE!"  Ask the kids what happened when we all said "HE!"  They also had fun doing a freeze dance to the song "Rockin' Robin."
