 drawing kings and queens,

 working puzzles,
 building with Legos,
 playing with the doll house,
and exploring sinking and floating during lunch bunch science.

First Year Class 4/28

Our theme for the week is Kings, Queens, and Castles.  The children enjoyed making their own castle turrets with glue and tissue paper to decorate paper towel tubes.  They were very busy building on to Mrs. Mann's big castle.  We had colored sand with jewels in the sand table.  Dara came to sing!  Playing in the playground was lots of fun too!

Second Year ClassTuesday, April 15

Children learned to twiddle their thumbs while waiting for the dye to color their eggs.

We investigated how many eggs can be stuffed in a sock?

The lunch bunch science activity was a "Spring Walk."  Children spot flowers and record their observations as a sign of Spring.

Today we sang with Dara in the Parish Hall.  We pretended to be birds hatching out of eggs.

Second Year Class - Friday, April 11,2014

We had a fun day which included making mud puddle cake, marble maze fun, the letter "V for Volcano" for our alphabet book, Legos, Yoga (ask your child about our trip to the moon), eating a yummy snack which included mud puddle cake, and warm Spring outdoor play.  We were so busy that we did not have time to take too many photos, but here are just a few.

  Have a great weekend!
